So I've decided to give the HCG diet a try. I've done VLCD in the distant past, the key was how you transitioned afterward. You could NOT imagine yourself sedentary towards the end, you have to work out and gradually up the calories. Since I've already been consistently active for the past four months I don't think I'll have a problem with that!
My goal is to ditch 25 pounds. Wish me luck!!
Yesterday's load day:
Breakfast: PB&J, with LOTS of PB.
Snack: a cinnamon and raisin scone, a large soy Earl Grey latte.
Lunch: falafel and hummus rollup with fries
Snack: two chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered almonds from Taza
Dinner: Two slices of vegan pizza with jalapenos, tomatoes, garlic, and moz Daiya cheese, cheesy breadsticks with Daiya cheese. Mmm mmm, Daiya cheese!
At first this seemed like fun--yay all of my favorite vegan junk food! Didn't I mention the other day that we're not starving?? But wow, I never want to look at all of this stuff ever again. I think load days were invented so you load up so much on this stuff that not touching it for a month sounds positively exquisite.
Today is load day #2, my breakfast is cookies. Like I'm a little kid or something. *facepalm*
I'm soooo fullllll.... O_O;
